Therapy and Counseling Telehealth Services
Teen Counseling
The teen years can be full of pressure — balancing school, friendships, social media, and family expectations while figuring out who you are. It can feel confusing, lonely, or overwhelming at times, and that’s where therapy can help. I provide a supportive space where you can talk openly, learn healthy ways to cope, and build confidence in yourself. Together, we focus on understanding emotions, improving communication, and creating tools for navigating life’s ups and downs with more ease and self-trust.
Individual Therapy
Life can feel overwhelming when you’re juggling everything and still trying to hold it all together. Through individual online therapy, we’ll work together to understand what’s beneath your stress and help you find balance, clarity, and confidence again. Our sessions are a safe space to slow down, reflect, and create real, lasting change — one step at a time.
Couples Counseling
Relationships can be deeply meaningful — and also deeply challenging. Sometimes couples come to therapy to strengthen their connection; other times, they come to find clarity about whether staying together is the best path forward. I provide a supportive, neutral space where both partners can be heard, explore underlying patterns, and understand what each person truly needs. Together, we’ll work toward clearer communication, mutual respect, and a shared understanding of what a healthy next step looks like.
Session Breakdown
During your first session, we’ll go over your intake paperwork. Your first session will be 75 minutes long; a little longer than the other sessions because I want to make sure we cover everything from paperwork to understanding what’s really going on. Afterwards, sessions are 45 minutes long. At first, I recommend we meet each other once or twice a week; as you start feeling more confident, we can start spacing the sessions out. We’ll go at your pace.
Maybe you have seen on TV shows about people in therapy; it’s very different in real life. You know why you are here and I know how to help you; we are a team with the same goal. In session, we are going to talk about whatever you want to talk about, can be big things, can be small things. Can be about a fight you had with your tween or the fly that was bothering you in the middle of the night. You guide the conversations and everything is equally important.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need therapy?
It’s completely normal to wonder if therapy is the right step. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy — it can simply be a space to pause, reflect, and understand yourself more deeply. If you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to manage everything on your plate, therapy can help you find clarity, calm, and support as you navigate life’s challenges.
How long are sessions and how often will we meet?
Sessions are 45 minutes long and we can meet weekly or biweekly.
How long does therapy take?
Every person is different, some stay short term, some stay for years. It depends on how deep you want to go
Is online therapy confidential?
Yes, I use a HIPAA compliant platform to conduct our sessions as well as every form of communication.
Is online therapy effective?
Yes — research supports teletherapy as equally effective as in-person therapy. Plus you have the added benefit like flexibility, privacy, and comfort.
What is your approach?
My work is grounded in a psychodynamic and humanistic approach, which means I focus on understanding the deeper patterns and experiences that shape how you think, feel, and relate to others — while also seeing you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms.
Together, we’ll explore not only what you’re struggling with, but why certain patterns keep showing up — often tracing back to early experiences, relationships, or unspoken expectations. As awareness grows, so does the ability to choose differently — to respond instead of react, to connect instead of withdraw, and to move through life with more intention and self-compassion.
At the same time, I believe therapy should feel collaborative, warm, and deeply human. I see my role as walking alongside you — helping you uncover your strengths, make sense of your story, and feel more connected to who you are and what you need.
How much are the sessions?
- Individual and teen counseling: $195
- Couples counseling: $225
- I offer sliding scale
What if I tried therapy before and it didn’t work?
I understand how hard it is to pour your heart out to a stranger, again, in hopes of change. I think that the success of therapy lies within the relationship itself, its about connection between the two of us.
Do you take insurance?
I don’t accept insurance because I want therapy to be focused on you, not on what an insurance company requires. Working outside of insurance means your treatment, goals, and number of sessions aren’t limited or dictated by a diagnosis. It also keeps your information fully confidential — nothing is shared with a third party. Many clients choose this route for the privacy, flexibility, and freedom it provides.
I can provide with a superbill so that you can seek reimbursement.
